Freedom Irrigation (est. 2005) Owner and Manager Malcolm Thompson understands that the most important, and often overlooked issue in irrigation planning, is the quality of life for farmers and their family. With over 30 years successfully running a large dairy and mixed farming operation, he knows from first hand experience the difference that irrigation planning can make.
As the recipient of the prestigious Nuffield Farming Scholarship in 1985, Malcolm studied farming throughout the UK and Northern Europe, broadening his knowledge of farming practices and gives him access to some of the sharpest farming brains in the other Nuffield Alumni.
Now the owner of an irrigator design, supply and consulting business, Malcolm has a truly unique combination of skills that enables him to view your irrigation needs from a down-to-earth farmer’s perspective with a manufacturer’s expertise.
